Yoga Nidra is a form of dynamic sleep which relaxes tensions in the physical, mental and emotional body. Awareness is kept as one is guided through a systematic method which releases information from the subconscious and unconscious helping us to remove unwanted habits. One hour of Yoga Nidra is compared to 4 hours of sleep. Ever more in the busyness of life, especially living in a city, we need to accumulate practices which nourish and nurture. The evening commences with a short introduction to the practice then gentle movement (asana) is followed by stillness as we move into the healing Yoga Nidra practice.
