When we start exploring meditative/mind/body practices, we are often searching for a restorative, restful, calm state whether consciously or sub-consciously. An all-elusive still point which exists beyond time and form and from which everything radiates. The truth is, that stillness is always there it’s just in all the noise, distraction and general cacophony of life, we lose touch with it. In a way, it is very simple to comprehend (we intuitively ‘know’ we’ve been there) - at the same time - a deeply profound experience. In this session, we will share a guided meditation and explore some powerful yet uncomplicated ways to rest in the still point - techniques we can re-connect with as we go about our day. The more we can re-connect, the more we can integrate that connectedness into our lives. All welcome - whether you’re a complete beginner, or you’re already a meditator.
‘At the still point of the turning world. Neither flesh nor fleshless;
Neither from nor towards; at the still point, there the dance is’
Four Quartets by T S Eliot
