Through the Body to Heal the Soul - Introduction to Biodynamic Medicine w Mary Molloy

Biodynamic Medicine is defined as the art and science of healing in accordance with biodynamic principles. It brings a radical new dimension to total wellbeing. Recent research in neuro-science has indicated that the brain and gut are directly connected. Each play a crucial role in maintaining health and happiness; and recovery from trauma and stress, howsoever caused.

The aim of biodynamic medicine and experience is to restore the health of this connection, and enhance the circulation of life energy between the brain, heart and gut. Bio-dynamic is the life enhancing flow – the river of life - that nourishes our body and mind. It nurtures the soul and renews our sense of meaning and purpose. It brings quality relationships with self and others and builds capacity and zest for living.

Our experiential biodynamic workshops can often mark the beginning of a lifelong journey of self-discovery. In this workshop we will explore and experience the benefits of this new knowledge.

Ignite your Body with the Wisdom of the Jade Egg : Kalindi Jordan

Are you wanting to make your sexual experience fuller and deeper? Ignite your body with the wisdom of the Jade egg.

For thousands of years Taoist Masters taught the secrets of the Jade Egg, mainly to empresses and concubines. Luckily these teachings have filtered through to us over the centuries.

The Jade egg practice assists in toning and strengthening the vaginal and pelvic floor muscles. The exercises help to maintain or develop a healthy pelvic floor and sexual organs. Working with the PC (the pubococcygeal muscle) which runs from the pubic bone to the coccyx. It supports all of the pelvic organs: bladder, uterus and rectum. It is the main muscle of the pelvic floor and controls the opening and closing of the urethra, the vagina and to some degree, the anus.

Jade egg exercises are particularly important as we get older or after having given birth. Pregnancy, childbirth, ageing and being overweight are all factors that often result in the weakening of the pelvic floor muscles.

Before you start with inserting the egg, there are important body connection exercises, anatomy understanding that are really key to the deeper success and connection benefits.

I also share some practices to assist the release of the posas muscle ( the emotional brain ) and open the hips and support the buttocks muscles that help support the pelvic floor.

Archetypes : Eleanor O'Rourke

The journey to discover “who we are” implies that we are one person, but there are many facets to who we are. We all have a personality which we developed, but we also have archetypes, soul patterns which we come in with. Knowing these archetypes allows us to identify the way we want to express ourselves in the world and the fear patterns that will hold us back from this expression. Many of us have been influenced by our family or culture to adopt ways of being in the world. Though these habits can guarantee validation or security, they can’t guarantee creative expression and an experience of who we really are.
